Gerald C. "Jerry" Finn, 81, of Cicero, formerly of Solvay, passed away at home surrounded by his family. Jerry worked in the trucking business for many years, and retired from Lipe-Rollway Corp in 1990. Jerry is predeceased by his parents, Edward and Ada and siblings; Estelle Hansen, Jack, Bill, Betty Gallagher and Joan Sheedy.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dolores; seven children, Michael (Ginny) of Lewisville, TX, Robert of Syracuse, Doreen of Cicero, John (Mary Ellen) of Syracuse, Karen Eschenberg of Syracuse, Jerry of Atlanta, GA and Daniel of Syracuse; Twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; sister, Mary Ann (Dick) Piron of Syracuse and sister in laws, Dawne and Nancy; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday 9:30a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m.at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Burial will be private.
Contributions can be made to Hospice of CNY and Anna's Pantry of Sacred Heart Church, 8229 Brewerton Rd., Cicero, NY 13039.
