George W. Hepfner, 94, of North Syracuse, passed away Saturday at Upstate University Hospital. George was a WWII veteran serving in the Airforce. He retired from Strathmore Paints as VP of Research and Development. George is predeceased by his sister, Hilda West.
He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Pauline Hepfner; daughter, Karen (Jonathan) Paulding; two granddaughters, Heather and Jennifer Paulding; a brother, Raymond; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday, 11AM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Mausoleum. Calling hours will be Thursday from 10-11AM, at the funeral home, before services.
Contributions in George's name may be made to the American Heart Assoc.
