George H. Sylvester, 68 of Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully on May 4th, 2021.
HE was born on May 20th, 1952 in Syracuse, NY to the late Frank and Rose Sylvester.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was an avid SU fan and enjoyed playing golf.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Lynn; children, Michael Sylvester and John (Kelly) Ventura; grandchildren, Oliver, Adriel, Raena and Johnny; brother, Frank Sylvester and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
George is predeceased by his sister, Rosemary Campbell.
Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY 13212 on Monday, May 17th, 2021 from 1-2pm.
