George R. Derochie

George R. Derochie, 79, of East Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday after a long illness. George retired from Upstate Hospital in 1996 after 30 years of service. He was an avid golfer, bowler and dancer.
George is survived by one daughter, Bonnie (Louis) Debo; six grandchildren, Elicia (Robert) Hess, Roxanne (Jonathan) Starrett, Louisa Debo, Louis Debo, Angelique Debo and Dominik Debo; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley (George) Sherwood; companion, Betty Nelson and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 7PM.
