George Presby Sr.

George S. Presby Sr., 78, of North Syracuse, died Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in New Bedford, MA he owned Syracuse Auto Body & Paint Shop. He was a member of Skyline Golf and Country Club and was a Navy Veteran of WWII. George is predeceased by his wife, Laura (1999).He is survived by three sons; George S. (Shirley) Presby Jr. of North Syracuse, David T. (Presby of Syracuse and Wayne J. (Kelly) Presby of Phoenix, three daughters; Anne L. (Robert) Davis of Oswego, Connie L. (Kenneth) Bush of Liverpool and Charri M. (John) Moultrie of Georgetown, MA, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. One brother; Edward Presbyla of Liverpool, two sisters; Dorothy Dias of Mattydale and MaryAnn Hannay of Eastwood, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Monday at 10 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Friends are invited to call on Sunday from 1-4 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street.
