George O. Porter, Jr

George O. Porter, 91, of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday at Loretto Nursing Home. George was born in Canandaigua, New York on February 18, 1930 son of the late George and Dorothy Porter. George served in the US Coast Guard. George served as president at Lake Conley Community in Holiday, FL where he made many site improvements. He retired from Certco Distribution in Madison, WI, he was an avid Green Bay Packers Fan and enjoyed NASCAR.
He is survived by his son, Richard (Nancy) Porter, of Baldwinsville, daughter, Melissa (Kevin) Richardson, of Clermont, FL, 5 grandchildren, Christopher, Kathryn, Amanda, Matthew, Patrick, 6 great grandchildren, brother, Phillip Porter, along with many nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
