George Kotary

George Kotary, 78, of Syracuse, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024. He was a high school graduate of Rome Free Academy. George worked as a drywall finisher for Kotary Drywall and Painting until his retirement at the age of 72. He was the king of pool, belonging to Caps Cue Club in Shop City. He was also a 300 bowler, winning many prizes over the years.

He was predeceased by his sons, Mark and Joseph.

George is survived by his children, George Frank, Laurie Frank, Wendy Frank; step-children, Bridgette Tausend, James Frank, John Frank, Terry Boiselle, Terry Young aka Boots and Matthew; grandchildren, Brianna, Justin, Alexis, Madison, Robert, Amanda, Matthew and Bryan; several great-grandchildren; niece, Christine; nephew, Matthew.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024 5-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals in North Syracuse.
