George K. Spoar, 87, of Clay passed away on Tuesday. He was an avid SU fan, he loved camping at Brennan Beach, and enjoyed gardening and golf.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Betty; Daughter, Sandra (Robert) Jones; Son, Drew Spoar; 3 grandchildren, Andrew, Nick, and Nate; 4 great-grandchildren, Gracie, Jameson, Naela, and Tyson and his beloved dog Gunner.
A calling hour will take place Friday 10-11 AM at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse. A service will follow immediately after. Burial will take place in White Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the SPCA.
