George Howell, 89, of Tully, passed away Sunday at his son's home in North Syracuse.
He is predeceased by his sons, Edward and George.
George is survived by his wife, of 69 years, Anna M. Howell; two sons, Joel J. (Pam)of Port Orange Florida and Richard R. Howell Sr.(Judy Cook); thirteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
George served with the Army's 18th Cavalry Reconnaisance Squadron & was a survivor of the Battle of the Bulge. George was a building construction engineer for the State. He was a Mason,(Masonic). He enjoyed carpentry, gardening and cooking.
Graveside services will Wednesday, 10 Am at Tully Cemetery.
