George G. Sorrendino, 77 of Liverpool died Sunday at the VA Medical Center in Syracuse. He was an avid SU sports fan. He retired from O.M. Edwards and Longley-Jones. He was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are three sons, Mark, Stephen and Michael (Lyn) Sorrendino; two daughters, Susan (Daryl) Bowman and Anne (Christifer) Calkins; a brother, Ralph Sorrendino; a sister, Mary Jane Clark; former wife, Linda Alcaras;11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 12:00 pm Friday at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will follow at Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home, before services.
