George E. Smith Jr., 73, of Cicero passed away Friday at his home. Born in Cicero, he was a Repair Technician with S.A. Notle & Son for many years. George was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was a member of the North Syracuse Jehovah Witness Congregation.
George is survived by his wife of 47 years Sue (Remington) Smith, two daughters; Belinda Smith-Kairis and Krista Rushford, a brother; Richard (Donna) Smith, two sisters; Madeline Nowack and Theresa (David) Wright, three grandchildren; Chelsey, Kierra and John Henry and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be in Cicero Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street.
