George E. Hardin, 81, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was a Marine Corps. Veteran. George worked for Ingersoll Rand and CNY Equipment. In 1980 he established and operated Regional Equipment Corp. until retiring in 1995.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rosemary Hardin; daughter, Karen (Christopher) Wigler; sister, Mary Lou Hornlien; grandchildren, Christopher G. Wigler and Loretta Ferguson; great grandchildren, Samantha Farmer, Christopher G. Wigler II and Claire Wigler; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday, 11AM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7PM at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
