George E. Fuller Jr.
George E. Fuller Jr. of Fulton, passed away peacefully on March 9th at St. Joseph's Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Fulton, NY, son of George E. Fuller Sr. and Florence (Ware) Fuller, where he resided most of his life. He lived in Northern Quebec for 5 years where he loved the people, the land and the lakes. An avid Outdoorsman, he amusingly would say "I would rather be lost in the woods than be found at home."
He graduated from Fulton High School and served 2 yrs in the Army during the Korean War for the America he loved. He was a member of the Elks Club and VFW in Fulton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and boating on Oneida Lake. He was a longtime member of Lock Stock and Barrel Gun Club. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Rodney Fuller, Richard Fuller and his son Lyle Fuller.
He was survived by his wife Fran (Henning) Fuller, his son Jim (Kim) Henning of Tupper Lake, NY, Cindy Fuller of Washington State, Terry (Stan) Lyttle of Fulton, 3 sisters, Hilda (Robert) Hall of Inverness, FL, Barbara (Robert) Hutchinson of Rodman, NY, and Joan (Frederick) Gannett of Inverness, FL, 1 brother Robert (Arnell) Fuller of Fulton, NY, 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and several endearing nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are in the care of New Comer Funeral Home 705 N. Main St. N. Syracuse. Calling Hours Thursday 1-4PM, Memorial service to follow at 4PM.
Internment at Mt. Adnah Cemetery Friday 1pm, 706 E. Broadway Fulton NY.
