George J. Brown Jr., 69, of North Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly at home on November 20, 2023.
George was born in Syracuse, New York on December 23, 1953 to the late George Sr. and Germain Brown.
George retired from P&C foods after over 30 years. In his retirement he returned to TOPS foods. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, playing cards, working and ending the day with his favorite ice cold beer.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Renee Brown and Brother, Mike Brown.
He is survived by his Daughter, Anna (Jim Halsey) Brown; Son, George (Ashlie Varre) Brown III; Seven grandchildren, Joseph V, Jordan, Camryn, Connor, Dominick, Paisley, Gianna; Two Brothers, Chuck Brown, David (Faith) Brown and Sister, Shelley (Steve) Fleming.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 30th from 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
