George H. Bombard, 85, of North Syracuse, passed away April 15, 2024.
George was born in Cape Vincent, New York on July 12, 1938 to the late Clifford and Eleanor Bombard.
He was a USAF Master Sargent Retiree after 20 years of service. George later retired from AT&T after over 20 years as a customer service representative. In his free time, he enjoyed reading books and watching westerns. He was most passionate about spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his Wife, Patricia; his Son, James; Sisters, Evelyn Castagno and Catherine Beilfuss.
He is survived by his Two Daughters, Thelma (Michael) Cerio and Eleanor Natowitz; Son, George H. Bombard Jr.; Siblings, Irene Ledford, Elnora Bergen and Clifford "Chip" Bombard; Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren; As well as many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Visitation will take place on Sunday from 1-4PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. Military honors will be rendered at 4:00PM at the funeral home.
Burial will eventually take place in Riverview Cemetery in Baldwinsville.
