George Lee Alfred Sr., 66, of Syracuse, passed away September 10, 2018.
George was born in Pittsview, Alabama on July 21, 1952 to Lizzie Lee and Aaron Alfred. Our dad worked until he passed. A self-made mechanic, he loved car repair and was a professional. In his "free" time, our dad enjoyed shopping; he was often called the "Coupon King". Dad also loved playing cards and talking. He was a great cook and loved feeding people, especially his kids and grandchildren. Dad was known for playing his numbers. George was a loving father and grandfather.
George was preceded in death by his parents Aaron and Lizzie Alfred and siblings Aaron Jr., Annie Bell, Ellis Reese, and Isaac.
He is survived by three daughters, Kwanavera, Georgette (Robert), Rochelle (Ryan), son George Jr., mother of his four children, four brothers, four sisters, four grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends may call on Sunday, September 16 from 12pm-2pm with a service to follow at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY, 13212.
