George Stampp, 61, of Onondaga Hill, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday. George retired from Syracuse University in 2006 and continued working part-time at UPS. He was predeceased by his mother, Shirley (Tobin) Craver, July 9, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; sons, Christopher and Scott Stampp; sisters, Valerie DiCuffa and Doreen Mento; brothers, Michael Tobin from Syracuse and Richard Tobin from Woburn, Mass; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be private.
Contributions can be made in George's name to the American Heart Assn.
