Geoffrey C. Mace, 100, of Syracuse, passed away at home with his family by his side on November 14, 2018, just 3 days shy of his 101st birthday.
Geoffrey was born in Newbury, England on November 17, 1917 to Richard and Hannah Mace. Geoffrey retired from Syracuse University. He was a professional gardener and was an avid NY Yankee and SU fan.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Dorothy Mace; Great Grandchild, Collin Mace; Brother, Fred Parkes and Sisters, Helen and Edna.
He is survived by his Daughter, Barbara Sawyer; Sons, Roy Mace and Barry (Marcia) Mace; Sister, Nora (Tim) Wilson of the UK; 8 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Great Grandchild.
Visitation will take place on Sunday from 2-4 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A memorial service will follow at 4 PM.
