Genevieve "Jean" J. Pacer

Genevieve “Jean” J. Pacer, 97 of Cicero, NY, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday, September 26, 2024. She was born in Buffalo, NY on January 3, 1927 to the late Edward and Apollonia Dzikowski. Predeceased by her husband, Lt. Col (Retired) Vincent J. Pacer Jr. She was an avid bowler, golfer, card and bingo player. For over ten years she volunteered many hours of her time at the Smith Road Elementary School, as well as an active participant at The Cicero Senior Center. 

She is survived by her children, Charles “Chuck” Pacer and James Pacer; grandchildren, Scott (Yashira) Jennifer (Michael), Charles Jr., Adrian (Mariana) and Andreia (Brais), 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister, Alice Chojecki. 

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, NY 13212 on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 4-7pm. Funeral Services will follow at 7pm. Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA at a later date.
