Gary M. VanLeuvan, 49, of Virginia Beach, formerly of Syracuse passed away on Wednesday.
Gary was born in Syracuse and was the son of Gary and Kathleen VanLeuvan. Gary enjoyed fishing, cooking, and was an avid NY Giants Fan. Gary also loved spending time at the beach with his many friends and coming home to be with his family. Gary always had a smile on his face and made everybody laugh. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Kathleen M. VanLeuvan (Jim Coffey), brother, Doug (Carol) VanLeuvan, sister, Nicole (Jeff) Chapin, nieces, Georgia Chapin, Anna Chapin, along with numerous friends in Virginia Beach and Syracuse.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services to follow at 7pm.
