Gary R. Otis, 60, of Liverpool, passed away unexpectedly on Friday.
He was born on January 17, 1951 in Syracuse, son of Walter C. and Ida Krupka Otis. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. On September 4, 1971 he was married to Susan Meadows in NC. He was an active member of the Mattydale American Legion #1832 and was known by his grandchildren as "Doo-Dah". Gary was employed at Lockheed Martin for over 25 years.

Surviving are his wife, Susan, a daughter Christine (William, III) Kot, a son James (Andrea) Otis, father Walter C. Otis, four beautiful grandchildren; Hunter, Kaley, Kiera, Ryan and his beloved dog, Mookie.
He was predeceased by his son, Kenneth Richard Otis, mother, Ida, brother Walter P. Otis and nephew Walter E. Otis.

Services will be held on Tuesday 7pm at New Comer Funeral, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-7pm at the funeral home.

Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Cleveland Clinic, Guest House, 9601 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106.
