Gary L. Gerlock
June 16, 1935 — April 23, 2021
Gary L. Gerlock, 85, passed away on Friday, April 23rd. Gary was born in Toronto, Canada and moved to the United States where he spent most of his life. He married his wife of more than 50 years, Carole and together they lived and raised a family in Onondaga County. During his life, Gary proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and then as an Onondaga County Sherriff Deputy. After retirement, Gary resided in Fort Myers, FL for several years. He enjoyed golf, cards, painting and spending time with family and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife, Carole in 2018.
Gary is survived by his children, Debra (Don Kjellman) Gerlock of Charleston, SC and Richard (Tiffany) Gerlock of Clay, NY; two grandchildren, Connor and Chase; brother, Sandy (Helen) Gerlock of Toronto, Canada and nephews.
Services will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of CNY.
