Gary W. Fenn (the wolf), 73, passed away on Saturday after battling years of illness.
Gary was born on June 11, 1944 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse. He graduated from St. Anthony of Padua High School, Syracuse in 1962.
He retired from Crucible Steel in 2001. Earlier he worked with Travelers Insurance and before that worked with Pyramid as a landscaper. He attended school in California to study motorcycle mechanics, and learned how to build an entire bike. He also attended Lemoyne College for 4 years and completed the seminary program. He also served in the U.S. Army reserves for 6 years.
Gary loved to ride his '41 knucklehead motorcycle with his wife as well as snowmobiling, four wheeling, skiing, traveling, cruises and wood splitting with his friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eleanor and William Fenn and sister, Linda Fenn.
Surviving family includes, loving wife, Noreen (Boisvert) Fenn; daughter, Renee Maria Fenn; granddaughter, Ezra Joy Romano; brother, David (Carol) Fenn; nephew, Matthew Fenn; niece, Kristen Klodzen and cousin, Lynn Sloan of Las Vegas, NV.
Visitation will take place Monday, September 25 from 5-8 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A prayer service will follow. Burial to take place Tuesday, in Evergreen Cemetery, Stokes, NY.
A celebration of life will be held Tuesday September 26, 5-9 PM at VFW Post 3146 to continue celebrating Gary's life.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
