Gary A. Togni, 70 of North Syracuse, went home to the Lord on Tuesday at his residence, with family by his side.
He was born October 15, 1941 in Solvay son of Edward and Lucinda Togni. On December 26, 1964 he was united in marriage to Rosemary Cavallaro in Syracuse.
He last worked at United Radio. Gary was a member of the Living Word Church, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and devoted his life in serving his Lord Jesus Christ. He played bass guitar in the church orchestra and volunteered in many areas of service to the church and school, Living Word Academy.
Surviving are his wife, Rosemary, of 48 years, a son Garry (Donnarae) Togni, 4 grandchildren; Sarah, Jacob, Natalie, Mikayla and a brother, James (Rose) Togni.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at Living Word Church, 6099 Court Street Road, Syracuse. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10am from the church. Burial will take place in North Syracuse Cemetery.
