Gail Kelly died on August 11 at St. Joseph Hospital, Syracuse NY.

Gail was the wife of Edward Kelly for 52 years. Gail was born in Syracuse the daughter of Amy Inez (Vickery) and Alfred Joseph Gordon on September 16, 1942. Gail attended local schools graduating from Solvay High in 1961.

Gail's entire career was with the telephone company in Syracuse, starting as an operator and retiring in 1995 as a supervisor. Gail lived in Bridgeport for most of her married life until moving to Chittenango 6 years ago. Her life revolved around her family and her family very much revolved around Gail. She never missed a family gathering or event. She was a constant cheerleader for her children and grandchildren.

Gail is survived by her husband Ed, her daughter Lori Ann Haberer (Michael) of Bridgeport and her son Gary Kelly of Chitenango, grandson Shaun Kelly, step-grandson Dustin Haberer and granddaughters Samantha and Brianna Kelly and step-granddaughter Cheyna Haberer. She is also survived by siblings, John French Jr., Joan Kolseth, Sandra Post, Genevieve Timmons, Terri Palmer.

The family wishes to give special thanks for the love and caring of the nurses and doctors of the Intensive Care Unit at St. Joseph Hospital.

Calling hours will be held on Friday 10am-12noon at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, with services to follow.
