Frederick A. (Fearless) Smith, 91, of Brooksville, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2023. While in HPH hospice care. Frederick was born in Syracuse, New York on January 19, 1932.
Fred lived most of his life in N. Syracuse, NY before moving to Brooksville, Fla twenty years ago. He was married to his loving wife, Pat, for 71Yrs. Together they raised five children.
Fred worked for and retired from GE after 34 years of service. He also served in the Air National guard.
Fearless spent many summers with family and friends at Windy Acres in Chaumont NY. He possessed the ability to " Fearlessize" any object, old or new.
Daughters, Sandra (Robert) Hutt, Karen (David) Wendler; Sharon (Mitchel) Soule, Sons, Frederick A (Vicki) Smith Jr., Patrick (Dawn) Butler; Brother, Richard (Mary) Smith; 13 Grand-Children and 30 Great-Grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held on January 11, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale, NY. Burial will be private. A celebration of life luncheon will take place immediately after the burial.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to HPH Hospice 12242 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville, Fl 34613 in memory of Frederick A. Smith.
