Frederick A. Ranger, Sr.

Frederick A. Ranger, 84, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday February 10, 2025 at his home. Frederick was born in Syracuse on February 24, 1940 son of the late Thomas and Margaret Ranger. Frederick retired from Testwell Peters Co., Mattydale, NY.

He is survived by his children, Margaret Wagner, Frederick Ranger, Jr., Melissa Ranger, Bettina Banner, 5 grandchildren, two brothers, Thomas Ranger, Jr., Robert Ranger, two sisters, Linda Washbon & Rita Magnanti, along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Linda Ranger, son James Ranger and brother Franklin Ranger.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 18, 2025 from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services at 6pm.
