January 10, 2012

Frederick J. 'Fred' Littau, Jr., passed away on Tuesday at Upstate University Hospital. He was born January 12, 1941 son of Frederick, Sr. and Marie Hoogie. On June 6, 1981 he was married to Velma J. Waldron in Syracuse. Fred worked for Onondaga County for 25 years. He was a member of the Wetzel Road Church of Christ.

Surviving are his wife, Velma, his children; Kathleen M., Frederick, III, Tammy, stepchildren; John, Jr., Scott, Edwin, Colleen, Kathleen L., sister, Joanne, along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-3pm with services to follow at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse at 3pm. Burial in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay Monday at 11am.

Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Wetzel Rd., Church of Christ, 4268 Liverpool, NY 13090.
