Frederick A. Galla

Frederick "Doc" Galla, 63, of Syracuse, NY, unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 20, 2018. Freddy loved his family, especially his wife of 22 years. He loved to travel and his passion was to do missionary work.

He is survived by his wife, Amy Galla. He was the middle of four brothers, William, Donald, Robert, and James Galla; His children; Nicholas Galla (Nichole), Dylana Reyes (Jens), Thomas Galla, and Scott Quackenbush (Tarisha) and four grandchildren who he cherished, Anouk, Leland, Tirzah, and Mannix Reyes. Freddy retired from U.S. Post Office and also retired, with distinction, from the US Navy, serving as a Hospital Corpsman.

Calling hours will be December 29, 2018 at Faith Chapel, 4113 W. Seneca Turnpike in Syracuse from 10 AM to 12 PM with a service immediately following.

Freddy was loved by everyone that met him and had a way of always leaving an impression on you.
