Frederick C. Strait, 86, of Central Square, passed away on Sunday after a long illness at the Morning Star Care Center. He served in the US Navy during WW II and retired from Carrier Corp. in 1991. He was predeceased by his grandson Troy Dean Otts in 1982 and his sister, Madeline Darling.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Eileen M. of 61 years, son Kenneth (Sheryl), 2 daughters; Karen (Martin) Pearlman, Patricia (John) Tourtellotte, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and his sister, Norma Clement.
Services will be private. There are no calling hours.
