Frederic J. "Fritz" Maurer, 75 of N. Syracuse died Wednesday at home.
Fritz was an active member of the NRA, he enjoyed cars, boating and delivering pranks. He had an extensive career in the automotive industry working with numerous firms in the Syracuse area as a salesperson and service writer.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years the former Marilyn Salisbury, his son; Rick (Meg) Maurer of N. Syracuse, his daughter; Karen (Jim) Springer of Liverpool, two sisters; Sandra Herr of S. Dakota and Robin Merrill of Georgia, two grandchildren; Charlie and Alycia, several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday, 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services and burial will be private.
