Fred R. Coglitore

Fred Coglitore, 62, of Liverpool, passed away on Wednesday December 7, 2022, at the Onondaga Center in Minoa, after a brief illness. Fred was born in Syracuse on January 14, 1960 son of the late Santo and Alfrieda Coglitore. He was owner of Community Bakery in Syracuse for 30 plus years. After taking over the business in the late 80's Fred turned a small store front bakery into a thriving wholesale business supplying restaurants with his bread and baked goods throughout Onondaga County. You always knew Fred was around when you could hear his laugh and smell his Barclay cigarette's. Fred's best friend and companion Igor was always by his side, whether he was winning big at the casino, out on his boat fishing, hanging out at his shop with his '68 Chevelle or hard at work at the bakery. Fred loved his yearly NY Giants trips with friends and family. Fred was a big man with an even bigger heart. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews; Allissa (Corey) Moore, Stephanie Coglitore, Steven (Valerie) Coglitore, Christine Coglitore, Adam (Elizabeth) Coglitore, Joey Coglitore, Michelle (Greg) Fitten, Maria (Rick) Leonardo, sister-in-law, Allissa Smith, his favorite cousins, Frank (Lacey) Leonardi, Jon (Hollie) Leonardi, 2 brothers, Skip (Kathy) Coglitore, Paul (Carla) Coglitore.

Visitation will be held on Monday December 19th from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N.
Main St., N. Syracuse.
