Franklin H. "Fig" Newton, 77, of Liverpool died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital following a brief illness.
He was a loving father and grandfather. "Fig" was a friend to many and enemy to none. Frank was a founding member of the T-Riders Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed woodworking, reading photography and music. He retired from Miller Brewery as an electrician.
Surviving are three sons, Jeff (Joni) of Texas and Jason Newton of Liverpool, and Jamie Walton of Liverpool; a daughter, Jennifer (Kevin Cunningham) Irwin of Liverpool; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services and burial will be private.
