Frank Romulus Stracqualursi, 87, of Syracuse, passed away September 6, 2023.
Frank was born in Hyde Park, Massachusetts on March 2, 1936 to the late Francesco and Julia Stracqualursi.
A U.S. Army Veteran, Frank owned and operated Empire Construction Managers Inc for many years. He was a member of the Valley Men's club and Carpenters Union Local 12 of Syracuse. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, skiing, playing tennis and gardening. A lifelong carpenter, skilled woodworker, Frank had many projects over the years. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family, specifically their trips to Maine and Saturday pizza night.
He is survived by his Wife, Janet Evelyn Stracqualursi; two sons, Stephen (Janice Parente) Stracqualursi, Michael (Theresa) Stracqualursi; two daughters, Julie (Jerald) Sakran, Marie (William) Thornton; eleven grandchildren, Noah, Evan, Dominic, Regina, Anthony, Maria, Christina, Luke, William, Aaron and Ellie.
Visitation will be private, there will be a Mass of Christian Burial, on Saturday, September 16th, 9am at St. Michael's Church, 4791 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse NY 13215. Burial will take place in Onondaga County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
