Frank J. Padalino, age 70, of North Syracuse, New York passed away on Saturday after a long illness.
He was born in Syracuse on November 11, 1948, son of Frank and Genevieve Padalino.
Frank was a teacher at Most Holy Rosary School for a year, after graduating from SUNY Oswego, where he was a founding member of Delta Chi Omega fraternity. He also worked for the US Government in multiple departments for over 30 years in the Washington, DC area, retiring from the Department of Treasury in 2001 due to his illness.
Frank is survived by his sister Suzanne (Thomas) Spier of North Syracuse, daughters, Theresa (Neil) Beigie of Ruckersville, VA, Sandy (David) Gefrich of Wilmington, NC, former wife, Sherry Padalino of Ruckersville, VA, grandchildren; Juliet Karnes, Devin Karnes, Josephine Gefrich, Alexander Gefrich, & Genevieve Gefrich.
At Frank's request, there will be no services.
He donated his body to SUNY Upstate Medical University in the hope that it will contribute to progress in the knowledge and treatment of Multiple Sclerosis and related disorders.
