September 8, 2006
Frank "Sachel" C. Albino, 84, of Cicero, passed away Friday at the Syracuse Home. Born in Syracuse, Frank worked in the auto parts business at both Group Parts and Symers Auto Parts until retiring in 1984. Frank served with the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during WWII. Most recently, during the day, Frank could be found at the Turning Stone with his wife and daughter, and at night with his great neighbors in his garage for their nightly "meeting". Frank was a Communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Frances K. Albino; daughter, Margaret (Jack) Venesky; his grandsons, John (Lorraine) Venesky, Steve (Allie) Venesky and Doug Venesky; in-laws, Frank (Hilda) Loguidice and Barbara (Frank) Detran; also by Frank (Sue) Albino; as well as many nieces and nephews.
