Frank A. Tarson, Jr, 81 of East Syracuse died Tuesday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Syracuse, he was the son of the late Frank A, Sr. and Victoria Pitoniak Tarson. He was owner of Ace Hydraulics and Pneumatics for 45 years. He retired in 1998. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving in the Korean War. Over the years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid dog lover. He will truly be missed.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years the former Lois Robshaw, a daughter, Georgia, (Jeffrey) Hickox, of Atlanta, Ga.; two sons; Frank, III (Cara) of E. Syracuse and Edward Tarson of Cicero, two brothers; Robert of Cicero and Donald Tarson of Syracuse, three grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be 10:00 am Saturday at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours will be 5:00 – 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home, 705 N. Main Street.
