Francis W. Vogt, 90, of Syracuse, passed away Monday at Loretto. Born in Syracuse, he was a member of the NYS Umpires Association and Assumption Church. He was employed at Ward Baking Co. and Syracuse Savings Bank.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Alma K. Vogt; daughters, Rita Bush of LaFayette, Patricia McCabe of Tucson, AZ, Mary (Jerry) Kaufman of Stevens Point, WI; a son, Richard (Nancy) Vogt of Tully; sisters, Henrietta Hinman of Baldwinsville, Kathryn Burkart of Loretto; brother, Donald Vogt of Mannsville; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Thursday, 10:30AM in Assumption Church. The family will greet friends from 9:45-10:30AM, before services.
