Francis Earl Burgess, 93, of North Syracuse passed away on Sunday. Francis served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a carpenter for the North Syracuse School District and Liverpool School District for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and he was an expert woodsman.
He is survived by two children, Wayne (Lori) Burgess and Maria Burgess and 4 grandchildren, Nick, Lauren, Renee and Marisa and great-granddaughter, Moorea.
A service will be held in the Chapel at Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Monday, July 16th at 12pm.
