Francine J. Thompson, 68, of Syracuse died Wednesday at the Francis House following a long illness. A life resident of Syracuse, the daughter of the late, Samuel and Estelle Blumkin. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters.
She was predeceased by a sister, Marge Goebel.
Surviving are two daughters, Kim (Bill) Morini and Cheryl (Dave) Thompson-Blidy; a sister, Donna (Ronald) Nagy; a brother, David (Julie) Blumkin; two granddaughters, Megan and Amanda; special niece, Jennifer Tessitore and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-4 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave, Syracuse, NY 13208
