Frances U. Spingola, 84, formerly of Clearfield, PA and most recently of Cicero, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday. Frances was the Secretary to the President of the Clearfield Bank and Trust for 25 years and later taught handicapped children while in Erie, Pa. Frances loved children; she was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother.
Frances is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bill; daughter Kara Gilbert; grandson, Joseph Gilbert; granddaughter, Kayla Gilbert; great-granddaughter, Emma; sister, Donna Neiswender; brother, Jack Unch and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Tuesday 4-6PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse, NY. A funeral mass will be Wednesday 10AM at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sacred Heart Church, Cicero, NY or to St. Francis Church, Clearfield, PA.
