Frances Rappazzo

Frances Rappazzo passed away on December 12, 2024, at Syracuse Homes Rehab Center. She was born in S. Lucia Del Mela, Sicily, on February 28, 1923. 

She retired from General Electric after 30 years. Frances was an active member of the puzzle and cooking clubs at Parkrose Estates and made lots of friends there, keeping her active and enabling her to reach the ripe old age of 101. She loved working in her vegetable garden, sharing the fruits of her labor with family and neighbors. A favorite pastime was crocheting afghans and sweaters. While living in Brewerton, Frances enjoyed going on senior trips with her fellow church members. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Fortunato, her daughter, Frances Judkins, her son, Anthony. Surviving are her sons, Joseph (Janis) and Dominick (Monica), six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. 

 A calling hour will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Divine Mercy Parish, 592 S. Main St, Central Square, NY 13036, with a mass to follow at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
