Frances A. Hemingway, 80, of Mattydale, passed away Sunday at home. Frances was born in Ogdensburg, NY where she met and later married Harold Hemingway. The couple moved to Syracuse in 1952 where they raised their three children. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold, grandson, Kevin Davis and a great grandson, Jordan Hemingway.
Surviving are her children, Sonja (Allen) Davis, Gary (Melissa) and Harold (Dawn) Hemingway, Jr.; sister; Elizabeth (Charles) Board; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Services will be 12 PM on Friday at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 N. Main St.
