Fortunato (Fred) Rappazzo, 89, of Brewerton passed away at Francis House. Born in S'Lucia, Sicily he worked for General Motors for 30 years. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing the accordion and woodworking. He was predeceased by his daughter Frances Judkins.
Fortunato is survived by his wife of 66 years, Frances (Mufale) Rappazzo, sons, Joseph (Janis) Rappazzo of Clay, Dominick (Monica) Rappazzo of Marcellus, Anthony Rappazzo of Liverpool, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM in St. Agnes Church, Brewerton. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday from 3-7 PM New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street. Contributions may be made to Francis House, 108 Michael Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13208 and/or Hospice of Central New York, 990 7th North St, Liverpool, NY 13088.
