Floyd Austin, 95, of North Syracuse, passed away Friday at home 18 days after his wife Beulah passed. Born in Fulton, Kansas, he retired from General Electric after 22 years.
Floyd farmed tomatoes, corn and flowers which he and Beulah sold at the Regional Market. He was a member of the North Syracuse Baptist Church.
Floyd is survived by three sons, David ( Gaye), Dennis and Duane (Roberta) Austin; three grandsons, Mark, Derek and Adrian; one great granddaughter,
Christina; brother Ralph, sister Louise Owen and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Friday, 11AM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will follow at the West Monroe Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7PM at the funeral home.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the North Syracuse Baptist Church, Seniors Fund.
