Florence H. Zinteck, 90, of N. Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Wednesday surrounded by her loving family and in the hearts and minds of those family members who couldn't be with her. She was a devout Roman Catholic, a true "Rosie the Riveter," a Pioneer of her time, Gift Giver, Secretary of St. Jude the Apostles, and the Matriarch, Glue and Selfless Caretaker of the Zinteck Clan. She was predeceased by her husband Edward on April 24, 1975.
She is survived by three sons: David (Jean), Alan (Fe), Duane (Patricia); Six grandchildren: Erin (Bradford), Melissa (Ranko), Nathan (Andrea), Kyle, Keyla (Daniel), Julie (Aleesa); Four great grandchildren: Tiarra, Bradford, Stella & Luka.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday 10am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool. Burial will take place at North Syracuse Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Palliative Care.
