Fern M. Tafel

Fern M. Tafel, 63, of Cicero, passed away on Sunday at Crouse Hospital. She was born on January 27, 1954 in Mount Kisco, NY daughter of Joseph and Fern Rossi. Fern enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Fern is survived by her husband, Edward C. Tafel, daughter, Tracy Tafel, son, Christopher Tafel, grandchildren, Korrine Tafel, Jaxson Chmura, Faelyne SaFranko, mother, Fern Rossi, brothers, Alan (Twell) Rossi, Mark (Janet) Rossi, sister, Jill (Stacey) Smith, brother, Dale Rossi and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Rossi, her in-laws; Ruth & George Noreault.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5-8pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Funeral services will be held on Friday 10am at the funeral home.
