Faythe A. Dodge

Faythe A. Dodge passed away Wednesday. Faythe was born September 20, 1919.
She graduated from Central Square High School and Syracuse Business Institute. She worked at the First National Bank of Central Square and went on to become the Postmaster of West Monroe Post Office, retiring in 1982 after 25 years of employment.
She was a member of the West Monroe Grange, life member of Oneida Lake Chapter #141 Order of Eastern Star and a member of West Monroe United Methodist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Earl D. Dodge in 1960; her father, Glenn O. Davey in 1967 and her mother, L. Belle Davey in 1983.
She is survived by a son, Lynn E. Dodge; a daughter, Kay A. Wicks, both of West Monroe, NY; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Sonia, Alicia, Jonathan, Linda, Lisa, and Carrieanne; nine great- grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A Memorial Service of her life will be held at the West Monroe United Methodist Church on Route 49 in West Monroe, NY on Sunday, September 28 at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West Monroe United Methodist Church.
