Fannie DeCandia Bennett, 96, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Tuesday after a short illness. She was born on June 16, 1917 in Syracuse, daughter of Michael and Theresa DeCandia. She enjoyed her trips to the Turning Stone Casino, always looking to hit "The Big One." She was predeceased by husband, Stephen Bennett and daughter-in-law Mary Anne Bennett.
Surviving are 2 sons: David (Rosanne) Bennett, Stephen Bennett, 3 grandchildren: Nick, Vikki & Stephen, 3 great grandchildren: Riley, Jacob & Stephen, sister, Ralphalina Mastri, along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 11-1pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, with services to follow.
