Evelyn Trapnell, 92, of Brewerton, passed away Saturday in Florida, at the home of her daughter. Born in Watertown, she resided in the Syracuse area most of her life. She retired with 20 years from Sears, Roebuck, in 1981. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Newell Trapnell.
She is survived by daughter, Linda (David) Crofut of Florida; a son, Richard (Liz) of Brewerton; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday, 10 AM at New comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Burial will follow at Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Friday from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Hospice of Florida, 12107 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, FL 34667-2455.
